An active and responsible member of the community, Sean has supported volunteer projects such as the Milton Millennium Gardens, the United Way Christmas House Tour and Canada Blooms, in addition to helping kids complete community service hours.
International award-winning landscape designer, educator and nature guru: Master Gardener, Niagara Parks School graduate, Sean has been gardening as a hobby since age 6, and gardening professionally since he was fourteen. He’s taught at Humber and Mohawk college for 17 years and helped create the national Red Seal curriculum for horticulture. He’s worked on landscapes from Switzerland to California and spoken from Seattle to the Maritimes. Sean has helped create documents such as the Grow Me Instead Guide, the Ontario Landscape Tree Planting Guide (look it up – it’s free to all) and the CSA national standards on Rain Gardens and Bioretention Cells. Writer, social media influencer (and not sure how he feels about that), Sean grew up surrounded by nature near Crawford Lake, which explains a lot about why he is who he is.
Sean runs an environmentally-friendly company, using local (where possible)/eco-friendly materials, recycling, and composting, with a focus on habitat, native plants, water/soil stewardship and food security. The office is even powered by Bullfrog Power, using 100% green hydro. Fuel use is offset by Planetair. Even AI use is offset!
